Gabriel Sierra’s Renaissance Society exhibition had not one, but eight titles, which changed on the hour during public opening times. The artist considered the title to be the most important component of the exhibition, introducing different logics to the space of the gallery according to the specific moment in which the visitor arrived. The installation consisted of 14 interactive areas or structures, each with a suggestion for engaging with it.
The poster features an abstracted black and white image of hay, which filled one part of the station titled Area for a 15-minute indoor nap in a 15th century fashion and area for a 20-minute outdoor nap in a 20th century fashion.
