Curated by Hamza Walker, this group exhibition set out to expose the latent Gothic impulse in contemporary America. The works reflect on mysticism, anger, mourning, horror, aggression, angst, apocalypse and the post-human in the forms of text on walls, drawings, sculpture, and video. The poster features on the front side a 2008 “Untitled Poem” by Steven Shearer, and on the reverse a drawing by 2005 Kacy Maddux as well as an essay by Walker.
